At Allegiance, we're here to help both tenants and landlords. While some property management companies only take instructions from the landlord,  we'll look after you too. When you approach us to find your next home, here's what you can expect:

A detailed ingoing condition report is provided so both parties are protected

You'll be looked after by a dedicated and accredited property manager

Security Alert: There are a number of rental advertising scams going around. To help you stay safe, all communications from us will only come from a verified email address ending with @allegiancepm.co.nz. If anyone tries to contact you from a different email or social media, it may be a scam. If you have any doubts about a listing, please call us directly.

Are you looking for a new rental home? Take a look at our available listings on TradeMe, book a viewing, or apply for a property you've already viewed.

Property Alerts

Sign up for our property alert service if nothing we have at the moment suits you.

If we don't have a property that suits you at the moment, you can register for our property alerts service. Any suitable properties which meet your criteria will be sent to you when they become available.

Finding a new rental can be a big task, and one that we'd like to make as easy as possible for you. Here's an outline of a typical tenant journey from our initial contact right through to the end of the tenancy. When you book with us for a viewing, we'll send through a more detailed FAQ via email, which goes into a lot more details especially around the application process.

Our Warm Welcome service is here to support you with your move to Dunedin by connecting you to the right service providers. We've got an extensive network whom we've used ourselves in many cases with excellent results. Here's some examples of services we could connect you to.

When you apply to our properties, you have the option of working with MovingHub, who can help you with utilities transfer, pricing, and access to discounts

Local Amenities & Services

As locals and parents ourselves, we'd be happy to guide you towards amenities such as supermarkets, childcare, good cafes, parks, restaurants, etc.

Packing, Moving & Storage

We have worked personally with a number of providers through a variety of challenges. We'd be happy to suggest the most suitable company for you.

Contents Insurance

Since the landlord's insurance only covers their property, we strongly recommend that you get your own insurance. We've got access to pricing comparisons which we can share with you.

Vehicle Deliveries

We can suggest reliable and fast car moving companies so you don't have to drive halfway across the country or wait several weeks for your car to arrive.

Mail Redirection

Addressed mail can be sent over to your new rental, or held by NZ Post. We can give you the NZ Post form and help get you started.
